Campaign Walkthrough: Missions, Objectives & Bosses
A mission-by-mission route plan for objectives, holdout rooms, extraction waves, hidden threats and boss encounters.

Read the mission before you fight it
Every campaign mission alternates between travel, interaction and escalation. The travel sections are where you collect ammo and choose your next defensive position. The interaction sections are where the game usually locks the squad in place. Treat every console, lift and scan as a possible wave trigger.
Before activating an objective, walk the room and identify two fallback points. Clear explosive hazards, mark the spawn doors and decide which player will watch the rear. This preparation turns a surprise wave into a rehearsed retreat.
Objective phases and holdouts
During a holdout, do not stand directly on the objective unless the interaction requires it. Spread just enough to cover the likely entrances while keeping abilities close enough to support a teammate. If the objective has multiple steps, save the strongest ability for the final step because that is commonly when the spawn intensity rises.
When the progress bar pauses, listen. Audio cues often reveal a special enemy before it enters the room. Stop shooting the nearest drone, call the special and focus it before returning to the objective.
Boss encounter fundamentals
Bosses are usually endurance checks disguised as damage checks. Learn the arena first: locate ammo, healing, line-of-sight blockers and the safest loop. Keep the boss moving through a predictable path, then spend burst abilities during its vulnerable window instead of on the opening animation.
One player should call movement. If everyone chooses a different retreat direction, the boss divides the squad and the encounter becomes much harder. Rotate clockwise or counterclockwise together, stopping only when the arena gives you a clean damage window.
- Keep one emergency ability unused until the boss adds appear.
- Do not stand between the boss and the next safe cover.
- Reload before the vulnerability window, not during it.
- Prioritize adds that remove your movement space.
Extraction and replay route
The extraction signal is not the end of the mission. Refill, reload and check cooldowns before starting it. Stand where the squad can see the main approach and leave a lane for the final retreat. Once the mission is cleared, replaying on a higher difficulty is more efficient when you already know the objective triggers and can tune the loadout for the specific holdouts.

How do I prepare for a boss?
Arrive with full ammo, identify the arena loop, reserve one crowd-control tool for adds and decide who calls movement.
What should I do when a holdout feels impossible?
Move the squad closer to a fallback position, stagger abilities across the wave and stop spending resources on low-threat enemies.
